A mystery buyer has shelled out $40,100 for a night out with Scarlett Johansson.

An Ebay charity auction to win a date with the actress ended last night, after attracting over 1.7 million hits since opening on March 2.

The lucky winner will accompany Scarlett to the August premiere of forthcoming movie, He’s Just Not That Into You.

The highest bidder – believed to be from the UK, according to PageSix – will also be helping a good cause, as money raised from the auction will go to Oxfam America.
